Thread and Push Pin Puzzle: What to Count and Submit
Set 4-7-8 on the tomato pincushions, then interact with the blue pin.
The documented answer is 4-7-8 on the three tomato pincushions. After setting the numbers, interact with the large blue pin to submit. Entering the numbers is not the final action.
What are you counting?
Use the Hole to expose the hidden threads. Follow each colored thread from its matching shape and count the red pins it actually bends around. Do not count a nearby pin merely because the thread passes close to it.
This is not a count of all visible threads or all red pins in the area. Match each count to the corresponding shape and pincushion.
Complete the attempt
- Find the large blue pin, smaller red pins and three tomato pincushions in the final area.
- Reveal the threads with the Hole and trace the colored routes.
- Set the pincushion values to the documented 4-7-8 solution.
- Interact with the blue pin to check the answer.
I entered 478 and nothing happened
First confirm that you performed the separate blue-pin interaction. Then recheck all three displayed values and the shape-to-thread matching. The digits are not a code to type into the office computer.
