Radio Puzzle: Button Sequence and Running Totals
One complete button sequence, explained through the 4-2-4-1-4 target totals.
The wall clue is 4-2-4-1-4. Reset once, then press:
Right → Right → Left → Left → Right → Left → Left → Left → Right → Right → Left
These are individual button presses. The numbers on the wall are target totals, not instructions to press a button four times, then twice.
What each button does
Right adds 2. Left subtracts 1. The red button resets the attempt; it is not a confirmation button.
Starting from zero, the sample sequence reaches the targets like this:

Continue from one row to the next without resetting. The table explains the same sequence; it is not an additional set of inputs.

Why an old guide may disagree
The official late-February update added multiple accepted solutions and removed the “always add first” instruction. The sequence above is one documented path, not a claim that every other path is invalid.
If the attempt does not work
Check that you used the complete sequence, did not treat a running total as a press count, and did not press Reset between targets or at the end. Restart a mistaken attempt with one reset.
This guide does not impose an unverified speed requirement. If the same sequence still fails, record the inputs and game version rather than guessing a time limit.
