Complete tape checklist with all 13 locations and the two most-missed tapes.
There are 13 tapes. The most missed are #12 (Key Room pedestal gap) and #13 (Trash can after 7 stars + recycle bin action).
Missing Tape 12 or Tape 13?
Tape 12 missing: check the Key Room, not a trash can
Enter the Key Room and inspect the left side between the third and fourth pedestals. It is easy to miss because the tape sits between display points rather than on the main path.
Tape 13 missing: verify all three trigger steps
- 1.Collect all seven Black Stars.
- 2.Open the Recycle Bin icon on the office PC.
- 3.After the PC interaction, inspect the real trash can beside the office desk.
If Fare’s Fair or another Black Star achievement is already unlocked, do not repeat that puzzle first. Compare all seven achievement names, then retry the PC Recycle Bin interaction.

Missed the recording? Replay a collected tape
Return to the Office and check the shelf holding your collected tapes. In a September 4 Steam reply, Playtester Best Pal Popy explains that collected tapes can be listened to again there.
Find the tape you already collected and use its available interaction to listen again. A day ending during the first playback is not a reason to erase your save or hunt for another copy.
This guidance comes from the original “Second Cassette” question and reply. It does not establish identical button labels on every console or whether collections carry into a separate save.

Golden Berry Room or Key Room?
These are different locations. Use the tape number to choose the route:

Where is Tape 12 in Berry Bury Berry?
Tape 12 is in the Key Room, on the left between the third and fourth pedestals.
Why is Tape 13 not in the trash can?
It spawns only after all seven Black Stars are complete and you open the Recycle Bin icon on the office PC. Then check the real trash can beside the desk.
Do I need to collect all tapes before the Black Stars?
No. Tape 13 is deliberately gated behind all seven Black Stars, so finish the star puzzles first.
